TOLLYWOOD STAR GOPI CHAND

JUNIOR NANDAMURI THARAKA RAMA RAO

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr.

Born
Nandamuri TarakMay 20, 1983 (1983-05-20) (age 25)
Hyderabad, India

NANDAMURI THARAKA RAMA RAO CAREER:-
Tarak began his career as a
Kuchipudi dancer and a child artist. His first step into Tollywood was with the movie Bala Ramayanam, directed by Gunasekhar. Ironically, his character in the movie was Lord Sri Rama, a role "patented" by his grandfather NTR ! After a few years, Tarak made his re-entry into the Tollywood with Ninnu Choodalani in 2001; but it failed to perform well at the box office. He went on to gain fame with Student No. 1 (also released in 2001), directed by S.S. Rajamouli, followed by Subbu and Aadi, which was a blockbuster, and created huge stardom for Tarak. In January 2003, Tarak came up with Naaga; though the movie raised some political issues worth giving a thought, it was average at box-office. However, in July 2003, his movie Simhadri became a block-buster and the highest grossing film in Tollywood, and made Tarak and director Rajamouli as household names. At the age of 20, he became a sensation of his generation and gave his seniors a run for their glory. When asked, what message would he like to give to fans, he responded by saying "I'm too young to give any message to all those who have so much respect and love for the Nandamuri family and me. I simply bow my head to them."
Starting from 2004 his career took a downward turn. His first release of 2004,
Andhrawala, flopped miserably at the box office despite the pre-release hype,[2]. The next movie, Samba, was an average grosser and the only respite during that period. The movie remained at the top of the box office due to lack of major releases from other big stars for fifty days.[2] In 2005 his two releases, Naa Alludu and Narasimhudu, flopped at the box office. Narasimhudu in particular was such a commercial disaster that it led to a suicide attempt from the producer.[3]. In 2006, his movie Ashok had good openings,[4]. The movie was in particular appreciated for its technical values and the gripping screenplay from director Surendar Reddy.
His next movie
Rakhi, which proved a success at the box office, has gained Tarak admirable reviews from fans and critics alike.[5] The movie was directed by Krishna Vamsi. His next movie, Yamadonga, which was inspired by his grandfather's blockbuster Yamagola, released on August 15, 2007. The movie brought him back into the super-hit stream, and became the sensational movie of the year 2007 in Tollywood. His latest release, Kantri, which exposed his superb skill of dancing, has also done well at the box-office. This is for the first time, that Tarak has given two hit movies in a row.
His all-round acting abilities, and wonderful performance in 2007 blockbuster Yamadonga, made Late Legendary Actor
Shoban Babu remark Tarak as one of his favorite actors in this generation, and reckoned that Tarak has done everything in such a short span of time to impress everyone.

KOLLYWOOD STAR SURIYA

SURYA CAREER:-
His debut film, Nerrukku Ner (1997) with Vijay was a big hit but all his succeeding films did not do well. His first reasonable success was in the movie with Vijay, Friends. But he did not get any big breaks and his career seemed to be stalled until director Bala approached him for a role in his next venture titled Nandha. This was one of Surya's best films. The film grossed Rs.50 lakhs at the box office.Surya won his first filmfare award for best actor for this movie.
Surya’s next venture was with Vikraman in the movie Unnai Ninathu and the movie was able to record good collections. This was followed by
Mounam Pesiyadhe which also did decently well. Surya’s second blockbuster was Kaakha Kaakha, a movie about the life of a police officer. The film grossed almost Rs.100 million at the box office. This movie raised the profile of Surya tremendously and made him a huge star overnight. This was also the movie that fueled intense speculation of his relationship with fellow co-star Jyothika. This was partly due to the strength of the screen chemistry shared by both of them on screen. Also Pithamagan alongside Vikram was a big hit, in which Surya was appreciated for playing a happy-go-lucky village guy and thus proving his skills as a comedian too. In the movie Perazhagan, Surya acted in two roles, one as a boxer and the other as a handicapped but a confident phone booth keeper. His role as the handicapped was praised by critics, and he received a Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance. His role in Aayitha Ezhuthu as a student leader was also favoured by the critics.
In 2005, Surya delivered more successful films in the form of
Aaru and Ghajini - afterwards he set up a production company called Studio Green which distributed the movie in the Chennai district. Ghajini was one of the most sensational hits of 2005, with Surya playing a short term memory loss patient, for which he even tonsured his head.
Surya's 2006 release was N. Krishna's
Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. He acted opposite his real-life partner Jyothika in the film. The film was an average grosser. The songs from the movie became a bigger hit than the movie itself. In 2007, Surya's solitary release was Vel, where he was paired with Asin Thottumkal. The film became a hit at the box-office. His latest film Vaaranam Aayiram, another venture with Gautham Menon again, released on November 14, 2008 and received a large reception.
Surya's next film is
Ayan directed by K. V. Anand, expected to be released in 2009.
